Wow my first original oil painting purchase and the standard has been highly set! Completely over the moon with my piece “Horse Trio at Wilmcote” that is proudly hanging in my bedroom for now, but will certainly be pride of place in my own home one day! The detail is incredible, and the colours are bright which I love the pink areas in the piece. I’ve already received so many compliments of it, and even I won’t ever get tired of looking at it. I'm Lorraine, a British oil painter and I create oil paintings for people who want their home to feel like somewhere they can truly exhale.
My paintings are often inspired by the sea, the countryside and those small, easily missed moments that end up meaning the most.
A shift in light.

A feeling you can't quite put into words, but you know it when you see it.
Painting has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, but after cancer and some life-changing chapters, I came back to it differently.
More honestly.
More intentially.
Now, every piece I create is about connection.
To a memory, to a feeling, or simply to a quieter way of living.
If something here makes you pause, there's usually a reason.
