Are prints ready to ship or made to order?

All prints are made to order to avoid waste

What Framing Options are Available?

Prints come with a selection of frame options, usually black, white, natural or unframed, in a selection of sizes. You can choose the option you'd like on each product page.

What kind of paper are prints made of?

Hahnemuele paper which is a strong archival, museum quality paper, made to last.

Ready to Hang?

Yes. Framed original paintings and prints will arrive ready to hang. Unframed options will arrive in a tube, ready for your own choice of frame.

Are prints glazed?

Prints are glazed with acrylic glazing. If you'd prefer glass, then an unframed print which you can have framed in your own choice of frame is the best option. Or, there are some canvas options available with no glazing.

Packaging

Depending on the physical size of your purchase, original artwork will be covered in archival quality glassine paper, supported both sides with foam board or cardboard, packed in a heavy duty plastic bag to keep out moisture, covered in two layers or bubble wrap, secured with tape and then placed in a box for transit safely to your chosen destination.

Framed prints will be sent well protected in a box. Unframed prints will be sent inside a tube. The artwork will have archival paper wrapped around it, then two layers of bubble wrap.

Where do you Ship to?

Currency

Pricing is in pounds sterling.

Overseas clients will be responsible for all local taxes in their chosen shipping destination and a charge will be added for shipping outside the U.K.

Returns

We offer 30 day returns on unframed paper prints and canvas prints, however the buyer is responsible for return postage and insurance.

For original paintings, I have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, contact us at hello@lorrainefieldart.com. If your return is accepted, I’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

You can always contact me for any return question at hello@lorrainefieldart.com.

Shipment Arrived Damaged

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

I understand that a commissioned piece is a personal investment and I will keep in touch with you regularly during the whole process. Rest assured I will ensure you are happy for me to go ahead before I begin any artwork and will keep you updated throughout.
Certain products cannot be refunded. Custom products (such as special orders or personalised items), cannot be refunded. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, I cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you do want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

I will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Commissions

Commissions are welcome. Please contact me via the contact form or directly on hello@lorrainefieldart.com. We will need to discuss certain criteria such as size of the commission, background preference, time frame, reference photographs, etc.

Are deposits for commissions refundable?

As a commissioned piece is bespoke, deposit refunds will not be available. However, there will be much discussion between us prior to any artwork being started.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes, absolutely. Please email me at hello@lorrainefieldart.com to arrange a gift certificate.
