A Family outing by Bridge Foot. One of those ordinary days that become the memories we treasure most. Painted beside the River in Stratford-upon-Avon. This original oil painting came about during an afternoon by the water... As I painted, a little girl and her parents stopped to talk to me. I offered to paint her into the scene, and she became part of the day's story.

I'm Lorraine, a British oil painter and I create oil paintings for people who want their home to feel like somewhere they can truly exhale.

My paintings are often inspired by the sea, the countryside and those small, easily missed moments that end up meaning the most.

A shift in light.

A feeling you can't quite put into words, but you know it when you see it.

Painting has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, but after cancer and some life-changing chapters, I came back to it differently.

Now, every piece I create is about connection.

To a memory, to a feeling, or simply to a quieter way of living.
