This seascape painting renders brooding storm clouds in the tranquil moments just before heavy rainfall on a Cornish beach. 

This deep blue head turner was inspired by a stormy day where wet sand reflects deep, dark colours of the deep dark sky above. Giving the sand the appearance of a glistening ice-like surface reminiscent of a skating rink.

On certain days the light in Cornwall is other worldly, almost surreal. Where seeing is believing and to capture the effect in paint.
