Thank you for being part of my Private Collector's Club.

As promised, here's an early look at my latest work in progress before I share it publicly on social media.

This original oil portrait was inspired by a young girl in Uganda. She is part of a group of children being taught to paint by a young artist who hopes to use creativity to open doors and create opportunities for them.

As many of you know, I believe art has the power to change lives. It certainly helped me through cancer by giving me something positive to focus on, so hearing about this project immediately struck a chord with me.

It was her thoughtful expression that first caught my attention, and I've been trying to capture that strength in paint ever since.

The portrait is still evolving, but I wanted you to be the first to see where it's heading. I'll share more updates as the painting develops.
